I work at the Olympic West Sportswear where we make jackets. It's important to learn to speak English so we can follow the directions make the jackets correctly. One day I was late and I could not help my friend who doesn't understand any English. She went ahead and sewed up one of the jackets, but she did it wrong because she didn't understand the supervisor. I told her she should go to school to learn English. If I am not sure about the directions, I go back and ask my supervisor.
One day my supervisor called me into his office. I was afraid I had done something wrong. he told me that my work was very good and careful, and that he was promoting me. I was very happy.
